Step 3 - Basic volume worked
The volume of the craft is worked, with the thickness shaped from nose to tail. This basic volume will help to support the rider's weight in all aspects of the craft's performance while transitions take place.
The rails are rough shaped top and bottom. This is one of the most important single shaping factors in the craft's performance.
